Autumn is my absolute favorite time of the year to get dressed because I love the textures and colors that go hand in hand with the season – both in terms of clothing and in the great outdoors. It’s a very vibrant time of the year and it is reflected in the activities and hues of the season. It doesn’t matter if I am out picking apples, drinking a hot pumpkin spice latte, or simply watching the leaves fall… I know I’ll be enjoying myself and wearing some killer boots and fun accessories – not to mention my go-to layering pieces! The fun holiday styles that start to become available right around now just serve as an added bonus.
Let’s take a look at some of the items I’d love to add to my collection right now:
Tory Burch Selma Platform Boots
First of all, a girl can never have too many pairs of boots! At the top of my “want” list right now are these Tory Burch Selma Platform Boots. A deep burgundy color, classic look, and beautiful craftsmanship make them the ideal pair for any Fall outing!
Tory Burch Selma Platform Boots, $647 (Matches Fashion)
Pour la Victoire Lois Boots
Then, of course, we have these Pour la Victoire lovelies. I mentioned these in another post last week, but I can’t get over how sexy these are. The unique style and perfect fall hue make them a definite want!
Pour la Victoire Lois Boots, $569 (Pour la Victoire)
Sam Edelman Leopard Brahma Hair Heels
We can’t really celebrate Fall without talking about animal print, can we? This classic leopard heel by Sam Edelman is definitely calling my name since it could be worn for work or play.
Sam Edelman Leopard Brahma Hair Heels, $205 (Matches Fashion)
Sam Edelman Scarlett Pumps
Since we are on the topic of Sam Edelman, can we talk about these spiked pumps for a second? LOVE. These may not be an ideal pick for apple picking – but they would look gorgeous with a LBD and those are always in season!
Sam Edelman Scarlett Pumps, $199.95 (Nordstrom)
Now, anyone who knows me at all knows that I have a thing for edgy jewelry. That doesn’t change from season to season. The right jewelry and accessories make or break an outfit, and in the Fall I often let my jewelry do the talking for me.
Zoe & Morgan Cobra Hoop Earrings
I’ve never been one for plain gold hoop earrings – they just aren’t really my style. These hoops, however, are right up my ally! The cobra design gives them just a hint of edginess while maintaining the simpleness of hoop earrings.
Zoe & Morgan Cobra Hoop Earrings, $176 (Matches Fashion)
Erickson Beamon + Bauble Bar Fusion Collection
When it comes to shopping for the upcoming holidays, and all the fancy parties that go hand in hand with the end of the year, you can’t get much better than Erickson Beamon. I’ve admired this particular line for years but it’s always been out of my price range. I couldn’t believe it when I found out that Erickson Beamon was collaborating with one of my all-time favorite jewelry sites, Bauble Bar, for a Holiday Fusion Collection. I can’t decide between the four pieces below – I want them all!
Left to Right: Versaille Dye Glam Necklace, $250; Dirty Glam Necklace, $165; Dirty Glam Earrings, $65; Pearl Jam Necklace, $200
Fallon Future Classics Labyrinth Maze Earrings
Now, I can’t talk about jewelry without giving some love to couple of wild pieces. First, we have these Labyrinth Maze Earrings by Fallon. These are huge and definitely are the star of the show when you wear them – no need for a ton of bling to compete with these rose gold beauties!
Fallon Future Classics Labyrinth Maze Earrings, $274 (RubyGold)
Peter Lang Australia Brass Wishbone and Silver Monkey Earrings
As for these, all I have to say is – OMG, monkeys! Swinging from a wishbone! MONKEYS swinging from a wishbone!!
SOLD.
Peter Lang Australia Brass Wishbone and Silver Monkey Earrings, $195 (RubyGold)
Siman Tu Veined White Turquoise Necklace
What I love about this turquoise necklace is the color. It’s such a unique looking piece and it definitely makes a statement. Pair this with a cozy Fall sweater and you are good to go!
Siman Tu Veined White Turquoise Necklace, $775 (Vivre)
Christopher Kane Aqua Bag
This Aqua Bag clutch by Christoper Kane reminds me of the aqua stickers I used to collect when I was a little girl… I love the unique look of this bag and the brown/purple color mix is a great fit for the Fall!
Christoper Kane Aqua Bag, $776 (Matches Fashion)
Ann Taylor Downtown Cape
Finally, this list wouldn’t be a complete without some outerwear, and what says Fall more than the new Cape trend? I first fell in love with the look when I saw it modeled by Demi Moore for Ann Taylor, so is it any surprise that is the exact coat I picked here?
Ann Taylor Downtown Cape, $248 $148 on sale for 40% off right now! (Ann Taylor)
Do any of these pieces strike your fancy?
What are you coveting right now?
