Dear Blog Readers…

Dear Blog Readers,

I wanted to take a moment to thank each of you for taking the time to read my silly ramblings. As someone who was a “blog reader” long before becoming a blogger myself, I know that there are an innumerable amount of blogs out in the blogosphere, and I also know that the majority are more interesting than my own! I am truly humbled that some of you have chosen to add my blog to your list of reads. I appreciate each visit from you and especially love to read your comments.

This blog has become a sort of lifeline for me this past month. As many of you know, I have been trying (somewhat unsuccessfully) to deal with a break-up. Break-ups are always difficult, but this has been especially unbearable for me.  I am grieving the loss of a lover and best friend – someone I thought would be a part of my life until the day I died.  

This blog is one of the few things that brings a genuine smile to my face right now, and I owe most (all) of that to each of you.

  Awww, thank you! I love both of those quotes. I've seen the Marilyn one before, but I wasn't familiar with the Chaplin one. Those will have to be added to my favorite quotes list!

  Aww, sweetie, that indeed is mega crap and something nobody should have to go through, but then you realise that you're free as a bird and although you may have lost someone special (or the guy you though was 'the one'), it just wasn't meant to be. It just means there's someone pretty darn special out there waiting to meet you! So get your best frock on and some sky scraper heels and rock on girl!
  ps. if you feel like reading something, check out Paulo Coelho's – "like the flowing river" it's pretty mind blowing and leaves you feeling kinda gooey and great after!

  I'm so sorry for the sadness you're going through. There's a quote by Marilyn Monroe that helps me a lot – "Sometimes good things fall apart so better things can fall together." And Charlie Chaplin said, "Nothing is permanent in this wicked world, not even our troubles." I hope things work out for you, dear, and thank you for bringing your beautiful style to the blogging world!
